It is correctly said "As the going gets tough the tough gets going" but it's hardly given a thought at the time of crisis.
In hard times find time for yourself. Some try to get over it by various means of (mis)engagements which hardly have a scope of growth - By growth it's the knowledge that is pointed to.

- SE is a designation coined by you know who
- For SE the interest is enforced upon the non-entitled.
- The SE's are basically taught
- SE's stick with the tech not out of love... but just to have a livelihood - well for most that's the requirement of the time.

Being content in a 12*12 room with a bunch of x86 mach sounds really absurd but is that so?

Yes i do agree that what linus torvald has done is really something unrealistic and the contribution of RMS is really appreaciable. It must have been really a "not so nice experience" that made them make a such humanitarian affort. Thinking of the counterpart msoft - even they are doing a great job of making the world more non humane.

It may sound rather unusual if it is pointed out that too much of indulgence is too much of either excitement or disappointment... Trying to put oneself in stable state involves a life much to the disappointment of general public. It involves a life that refrains from the fancy way of living - it's a frame of mind, it's not some doctorine to be adopted.
